Make Up Artists ARE artists. Their vision and skill bring characters to fruition! Show us your vision, skill and artistry in the first ever eFX Face-Feud! You will take the characters of the mock-film, Yahee of the Ice Clan, and bring them to life in front of a live audience. The winner will take home a cash prize of $250 and the pride of being our very first Face-Feud Champ.

Rules:

• All entries must be received and application fees paid by TBD and be complete. Notification of finalists will be on or before TBD. 
• Character looks must fit into the given film scenario.
• MUAs must complete three characters within the given time period (Approximately 3 hours for all three characters).
• MUAs must bring their own make up supplies.
• Brushes must be cleaned and sanitized before working on each new model OR MUAs must bring a set for each model.
• Models will be cast by our Festival Director and creator of the mock film scenario. You will be sent the models’ headshots in advance but may not contact or practice with them in advance.
• State mandated Covid precautions will be enforced.
• One assistant (pre-registered with us) is allowed.
• All designs must reflect a family-friendly environment and be age-appropriate for our models. NO GORE, please.
• NO SEQUINS & NO GLITTER (Per venue’s requirement)
• Day of Event: The morning of the day, the models will walk the runway wearing all black with their hair up and pulled back (Before). Then MUAs have 3 hours to work. They may split the time between the 3-models as they seem fit but all three need to be completed and ready to re-walk the runway in 3 hours.
• Judging: Our three judges will judge the FX & Make-up based on the mock-scenario and character description, on stage. Winner will be announced at the awards ceremony.
