Directors

Executive Festival Director: Christina Gopal

Christina Gopal, of Diva’s Perfect Productions, has been working in film for the past 12 years, first as an actress and now also as a manager, writer, and producer. In the last 6 years she has written, produced, and starred in an award winning web-series, Diva’s Perfect Posse, as well as several independent films, shorts, and features. She also works hard in the community to promote youth actors and models, primarily her two sons Alex & Julian Gopal, as well as many of their young colleagues they train and work with. “These kids work so hard but rarely get the recognition and opportunities they deserve. By the time they are teens they are either burnt out, discouraged, or replaced by ’18+ to look younger.’ It’s age discrimination but no one talks about it, yet. She firmly believes that early training and experience are crucial to developing the talent of tomorrow and preparing them for life-long careers in the industry, all in a safe, age-appropriate environment.

Assistant Festival Director:
Amylee Udell

After years as a blogger and small business owner, organizing local classes and events, Amylee was pulled in to the world of modeling and fashion by her youngest daughter, Sonora, a professional model.  Concerned about the pitfalls of the modeling industry, Amylee helped found Cutie-Q Youth Modeling Coop to avoid and, as much as possible, eliminate those concerns in the burgeoning local market.  She is eager to continue to “raise the floor” of the youth modeling industry in New Mexico by showcasing the quality talent the state has to offer during EnchantmentFx4.

Living in beautiful, Corrales, NM, she has a side business teaching actors basic horseback skills with her Riding for Actors class. She is excited to be in a supporting role in the feature film, Sierra Sisters, The Hunt for Blackbeard’s Treasure, as Charlotte, and riding her own horse, Dio, who also appears in two UNMH commercials. She has narrated two books on Audible, an online menu, an eLearning series of health booklets and more. Monique also has a Master’s in Reproductive Endocrinology from The Ohio State University and worked four years as a Research Technician.

Stephen Burhoe

Stephen Burhoe started out as a film student under Gregory Nava in 1976 and continued his passion by taking acting classes, leading to an eventual transfer to San Diego State University, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Drama. He worked as a stunt man, actor, writer, producer, and director in the Hollywood area for years. He appeared in many national commercials and even did comedy sketches on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Along the way he trained with the late, great Jeff Corey which lead to his entry into the coaching field. He eventually opened The Players Craft Acting Studio. He trained many actors of all ages, but gained a reputation for being one of the finest youth acting coaches around. He moved to New Mexico in 2014 and is again teaching, acting, and has returned to his passion of making films with his production company, Wire Ride Films.
